Solar & performance
Performance Ratio (PR)
How well a plant turns available sunlight into electricity — actual output measured against weather-expected output.
Specific yield (kWh/kWp)
Production normalized by installed capacity, so plants of different sizes can be compared fairly.
Digital twin
A physics-based virtual model of a plant — at Mirox down to each string — used to compute expected production and explain losses.
Inverter clipping
DC power exceeding the inverter’s AC limit, with the excess energy lost. Mirox detects it at the string level.
Battery (BESS)
State of Charge (SOC)
The battery’s currently stored capacity, expressed as a percentage.
State of Health (SOH)
An indicator of battery degradation over its life — how much capacity remains versus new.
Round-trip efficiency
Energy out divided by energy in over a charge/discharge cycle. (On the Mirox roadmap for BESS.)
Grid & market
Curtailment / Abregelung
Production you were deliberately prevented from delivering. Mirox attributes it to the grid operator or the direct marketer.
Redispatch / Ausfallarbeit
Grid-operator measures that curtail a plant; the resulting lost energy (Ausfallarbeit) is the basis for compensation.
Direktvermarktung
Selling renewable power on the market rather than at a fixed tariff — Mirox carries the contract, spot-price and market-value data.
Access & compliance
KRITIS / NIS2
German and EU critical-infrastructure rules that require a complete, retained audit trail of remote access — Mirox keeps it for at least 730 days.
RBAC
Role-based access control: who may see and do what, across organization, job-role and cooperation layers.
Browser proxy
Agentless access to a device’s web interface straight from the browser, over a unique mirox.io address — no VPN client needed.
