Monitoring that tells you not just that output dropped — but why

Mirox monitors solar, battery and wind plants in one place — solar analyzed down to the single string, batteries down to the individual cell, and every plant behind the same secure access.

Solar — fully analyzed

Production-grade PV monitoring, from the whole plant down to the single string.

Digital twin to string level

Every station, inverter, combiner box (GAK) and string is charted against its simulated expectation — so a production gap is traced to the component that caused it, not just to the plant.

Automatic status classification

Every component is classified automatically: normal producing, degraded, overproducing or without measured data. Where a signal is missing, the status is inferred from correlated components — and marked as uncertain when it is.

Performance ratio & yield

Performance ratio, simulation error, specific yield (kWh/kWp), data availability and the status distribution — per component, and normalized per kWp so differently sized units compare fairly.

Overlays that explain the dip

Grid and direct-marketer shutdowns, curtailment limits, connection losses, missing data and snow are drawn straight onto the curve — so downtime is never mistaken for underperformance.

Five-day production forecast

A physics model turns weather-model data into the expected production of the coming five days, calibrated on the plant’s own last 45 days and shown as a high-low band. Plants the model cannot forecast reliably are held back instead of shown with a number you should not trust.

Early warning, not just outage alarms

The watchdog also tells a measurement conflict — the component is producing, its own reading is wrong — apart from real lost energy, and recognizes a logger stuck on stale values. Inverter vital signs such as temperature, insulation resistance and phase imbalance run alongside as their own maintenance track, so wear appears in the plant’s activity list while the unit is still producing.

Battery (BESS) — monitored down to the cell

Multi-vendor today — NR Electric and Linyang/Xieneng. Mirox auto-discovers each system’s hierarchy and shows its live state.

Live state at every level

State of charge and state of health, voltage, current and temperature at every level the system reports — down to the individual cell — plus charge/discharge power, energy throughput and the healthy-cell count.

Auto-discovered hierarchy

Box → storage → module → cell, discovered automatically with up to four levels — the depth follows what the vendor exposes, and nothing is modeled by hand.

PCS as its own component

The power conversion system is monitored in its own right, with its own datasheet, vendor status and KPIs.

Energy-flow view

A dedicated view of how energy moves between generation, battery and grid — the battery’s role in the plant at a glance.

Wind — a full member of your fleet

Wind plants are onboarded, reached and recorded like every other plant — with full battery analytics on hybrid sites.

Onboarded like any plant

Register wind plants, organize them in portfolios with full role-based access, and keep their records — contacts, comments, site documents and a site overview image.

Secure remote access

VPN and browser proxy to the devices on site, plus local network inspection of the plant — the same secure path every other plant uses.

Hybrid sites: full battery analytics

A wind plant with a battery attached gets the complete BESS monitoring above — same hierarchy, same live values, same energy-flow view.

Vendor-independent device connectivity

No lock-in. If a device exposes its data, we can read it.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from a basic monitoring portal?

For solar, every station, inverter, combiner box and string is compared against a simulated expectation, and shutdowns, curtailment limits, connection losses, missing data and snow are overlaid on the same chart — so you see which component lost energy and why, not just that production fell.

What can Mirox do for batteries today?

Live monitoring: SOC, SOH, voltage, current, temperature and healthy-cell count across the full box-to-cell hierarchy — multi-vendor, with the power conversion system monitored as its own component and a dedicated energy-flow view of the plant.

What does Mirox cover for wind plants?

Wind plants are onboarded, organized and reached like every other plant — portfolios, role-based access, secure remote access to the devices on site, network inspection and plant records. A wind plant with an attached battery gets the full battery monitoring, down to the cell.

Which devices and manufacturers are supported?

Around twenty vendor adapters (SMA, Sungrow, Huawei, Fronius, Solar-Log, Janitza, Phoenix Contact, NR Electric, Linyang and more), with custom adapters built on request — usually within days.
