Reports in your structure — for every plant, in every format
Build report templates from chapters, fill them with the platform’s data and your own metrics, and see every change in a live preview before anything is published. One template serves PV, wind and battery plants alike — a chapter without data for a plant is simply left out — and the finished report downloads as PDF, Word, Excel, CSV or JSON, in six languages.
Templates and chapters instead of a fixed PDF
A Mirox report is a template made of chapters, and every chapter is made of blocks. Start from a shipped example, duplicate it or begin from scratch: add and reorder chapters, and decide for every block which data it shows and how. A chapter you want in several templates goes into the chapter library — and before you change or delete one, Mirox shows you which templates use it.
- Tables, charts, key figures, text and callouts as building blocks
- A data picker organized by level: plant, expected and compensated energy, inverters, combiner boxes, strings, battery, weather, market, financial figures and events
- Shipped examples to start from — duplicate one and it is yours
- Where-used everywhere: a chapter or metric that a template still uses is never deleted by accident
Edit the report and watch the pages follow
The editor builds the report on a real plant and period while you work: every block shows that plant’s numbers, on pages that look like the printed document — its fonts, colours, cover, numbered chapters, header and footer — and the page view shows exactly where the pages break. Comment where a number needs context, add a footnote, override a title or hide a block that does not belong in this edition.
- Live preview on the plant and period you pick
- Pages that look like the print, with a header and footer you can edit
- Commentary and footnotes, each signed with its author
- A cover with your title, subtitle and note — and the plant’s picture if you like
One template for PV, wind and battery
Which plant types a chapter applies to follows from the data it uses — nobody has to set it. Weather, market and event data apply to every plant type.
PV plants
Production, expected yield, performance ratio, irradiance and the component view down to inverters, combiner boxes and strings.
Wind plants
The chapters built on production, specific yield and revenue apply to wind plants just as they do to PV.
Battery storage
Battery chapters apply to standalone storage plants and to every PV or wind plant with a battery.
Hybrid plants
A PV or wind plant with a battery gets both. A chapter without data for a plant is left out — and named on the report’s provenance page.
Your own key figures — with an AI assistant to write them
Define a metric once for your whole organization and use it in any report, on every plant: an expression over 15-minute intervals, folded into the figure you want as a mean, a sum, a ratio or the last value. You do not have to write the query yourself — describe the figure in your own words, and the metric assistant proposes the expression, a name and a description, validates them and previews the result on a plant. The screen below is that editor.
- Live validation as you type, with suggestions for series it does not know
- A preview with every inverter or component lane and the resulting plant value
- Shipped example metrics to read, run and duplicate
- A metric that a template still uses cannot be renamed or deleted — Mirox shows you where it is used
From draft to published report
Every report of your organization lands in one library — filter it by template, plant, portfolio, language, status and period.
Pick plant, period and template
A month, a quarter or a year. Only the templates that apply to the plant are offered.
Mirox assembles a draft
The report is built from the plant’s data for that period and waits as a draft — nothing is downloadable before it has been reviewed.
Review, comment, publish
Check it in the editor, add commentary where it helps, then publish. Publishing makes the report downloadable and gives it a version number.
Regenerate when the data moves
Regenerate a report or edit one of its chapters and it goes back to review — the last published version stays downloadable until you publish the new one.
One report, five formats, six languages
Every format is derived from the same published report, so the figures match wherever they are read.
The paginated document: cover, numbered chapters, page numbers and a provenance page at the end.
Word
The same document as an editable .docx — headings, tables, charts and page numbers included.
Excel
Every table on a sheet of its own, each chart beside its data, plus a summary and a provenance sheet.
CSV
Every table as a CSV file, bundled in one ZIP archive.
JSON
The complete report document, machine-readable, for your own pipelines.
Six languages
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese — you choose the language for each report when you generate it, and its labels, dates and number formats follow it.
Know when a period’s numbers are final
Not every figure is final when the month ends: satellite irradiance arrives a few days later, settlement data and official market prices later still. Mirox knows which data each template depends on, and the readiness timeline shows per template and period whether the data is still open, preliminary or final — next to how many reports have already been generated for it.
- A ready date for every template, set by its slowest data source
- Generate early whenever you need to — the report is marked preliminary, never blocked
- The cover of a preliminary report names the date until which its data may still change
- Regenerate after that date and the report is final
Every change traceable, every step reversible
Templates and library chapters keep a version history: who changed what and when, and a way back when a change did not work out. Every report records the template version it was generated with, and its provenance page names the data cut-off, the period, the time zone and any data warnings — so a number in a report can always be traced back.
- Version history with author and date for templates and library chapters
- Restore an earlier version — as a new version, so nothing is lost
- Reports know which template version they were built from
- A provenance page at the end of every PDF and Word report
What the two demos show
Both demos run the real Mirox report screens on demonstration data: above, the report editor with its live preview on a simulated plant; below, the metric editor with its preview. Nothing you do there reaches a real account. The metric assistant works on the data of your own organization and saves metrics with your permissions, so sending it your own requests is reserved for signed-in users — in a walkthrough we show it building a metric on your own plants.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the reports, or are they fixed?
You can change them. A report is built from a template made of chapters: duplicate a shipped example or start from scratch, add, remove and reorder chapters, and choose the data, tables and charts in each. Templates, chapters and metrics belong to your organization, and who may edit them follows your organization’s roles.
Does one template work for PV, wind and battery plants?
Yes. Which plant types a chapter applies to is derived from the data it uses. A template is offered for a plant when it has something to say about it, and a chapter without data for that plant is left out of the report and named on its provenance page.
Which formats can I download?
PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx), CSV (a ZIP archive with one file per table) and JSON. All of them are derived from the same published report, so the figures match across formats.
What if I generate a report before all data is in?
You can — generating is never blocked. The report is marked preliminary, and its cover names the date until which the data may still change; regenerate after that date and it is final. The readiness timeline shows per template and period when that is.
Do I have to write queries for my own metrics?
No. Describe the figure in your own words and the metric assistant proposes the expression, a name and a description, validates them and previews the result on a plant. If you prefer, you write the expression yourself in MetricsQL, with live validation and a list of the available series beside it.
